Brainboss processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you provided this information to us. Below you’ll find an overview of the personal data which we process:

• First- and last name
• Address information
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• Location information
• Data about your activity on our website (IP-address and geographical data)
• Internetbrowser and device type
• Data that is required to execute a business contract (on top of the before mentioned personal data: bank account number and VAT-number)

Our website and/or services does not have the intention to collect data about website visitors.

With which purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Brainboss processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Process your contact request through our website
• Send our newsletter
• Call or e-mail you in case this is required to perform our service
• Inform you about changes in our products and services
• Brainboss processes personal data if we are legally to do so, for example personal data which we need to file or tax return
• Send invoices

Automated  decision making
Brainboss does not use automatic processing of personal data for decision making on subjects which could have (significant) consequences for persons. This include decision making made by computerprograms or systems that does not require human intervention (for example an employee of Brainboss).

How long we store personal data
Brainboss stores your personal data no longer then is strictly required to fulfill the purpose for which personal data is collected. We maintain retention periods for the following personal data categories:

• Personal data collected through a contact request
  Retention Period: 1 year if there has been no further contact after a contact request and no assignment ensues from the contact.
  Reason: we want to perform analysis on the number of contact request we receive an a yearly basis.
• Personal data collected through a newsletter subscription
  Retention Period: till a person opt-out on a newsletter subscription.
  Reason: we explicitly ask for permission to use personal data upon a newsletter subscription, which is revoked after a request for removal of personal information.
• Personal data collected by entering an agreement
  Retention Period: as long as the agreement is active.
  Reason: needed to properly execute an agreement.
• Personal data about your activity on our website / internet browser and device type
  Retention Period: 14 months, will be reset upon new activity on our website.
  Reason: this is the minimum number of months that Google Analytics will retain personal data.
• Corporate information when entering an agreement
  Retention Period: till 7 years after ending an agreement.
  Reason: we are legally obliged by the IRS to store this information for a period of years.

Brainboss uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies which do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device after your first visit on our website. The cookies which we use are necessary for the technical processing of our website and for an optimal user experience. They ensure that the website functions properly and capture your preferences. We can also optimize our website by using cookies. You can unsubscribe from collecting cookies by changing the settings of your internet browser. A part from that you can also removed stores cookies on your devices through the settings of your internet browser.

View, change or remove personal data
You have the right to view, change or remove your personal data at any time. A part from that you also have the right to revoke any permission for the processing of personal data or to oppose the processing of personal data by Brainboss. Furthermore you have the right of data transfer by Brainboss. This means that you can file a request to us to send your personal data in a computer file to you or someone else in your organization.

A request to view, change or remove personal data, data transfer or to revoke the any permission for the processing of personal data can be send to info@brainbossassociates.com. To make sure that you have filed the request we ask you to send a copy of an ID-document with the request. Make sure that Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) on you ID-document has been blacked out to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request within 4 weeks.

Brainboss takes the protection of your personal data seriously. Therefore we take measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted publication and unauthorized changes of your personal data.
